After I bought a new 2021 Toyota Hiace, I started my quest to find someone to do my conversion. This took me all around Hervey Bay, Brisbane and Ballina. Through a RV magazine I contacted a fellow Hiace owner, and he suggested Oz Caravan World at Brendale. I met with them the following week and was really impressed by their knowledge, friendly approach, and willingness to help.
The team at Oz Caravan World, guided me with the design of the van, showing me options and guiding me through what could be done. Selecting colours, appliances, fittings etc was so easy in their display centre which had on display a bunch of option.
Throughout the conversion, they kept sending me photos and allowed me to visit 4 times to see the progress and chat to them. There was nothing that they wouldn’t do which was so relieving.

Claude worked with us and our budget to maximize what we could do and we are now very happy customers. We liked our van before, now we love it! Claude kept us updated throughout the process and was happy for drop ins to see progress and see any issues that were uncovered along the way. Our van was finished ahead of schedule which was a nice bonus. We had multiple additional power points 12v, USB, GPO and Andersons installed, some interior and exterior placed in more convenient locations. Sirocco fans, bedside lighting, updating water pipes, replacing legs on the van, upholstery, re-sealing and our biggest want a King side bed with storage underneath. We are extremely happy with all the work and have just returned from our first trip and can say it is everything we imagined and more
